Trudie is the owner and Chief of Foodspiration at The Family Table and The Garden Tea House, with both food businesses focusing on featuring local produce throughout their meals, cooking classes and catering.
Trudie is a talented home cook who is currently studying her Diploma of Commercial Cookery and has passion for getting to know local farmers and using their produce, teaching people about food and getting kids of all ages in the kitchen.
Trudie can often be found in the kitchen testing out and trialing new recipes and ingredients and cooking up a storm at the Greater Whitsunday Farmers Markets demos once a month.
So far in her food career, Trudie has had the privilege to work alongside Matt Golinski (twice) and Alex & Gareth from MKR and plenty of our local and super talented Chefs!
Trudie is Secretary of the Greater Whitsunday Food Network and is looking forward to being a part of growing the local food network and increasing the knowledge around how to shop and eat seasonally.
